Prototyping PLL FM broadcast trasmitters

Prototyping PLL FM broadcast trasmitters

ERE-Labs has recently been developing a series of modular RF systems intended for use in professional FM broadcasting situations. This will include, 100mW FM PLL exciter module. 1Watt thought to 100 Watt output power amplifiers, indented to be driven via the 100mW exciter module. each module will also have adiquiet filtering and input/output protection to make sure that they are not only compliant to RSM standards, but also make them BULLET PROOF!

with the intention that these modules also be used by hobbyist and LPFM stations. we are also looking at making these into a kit form with the PCB and components , as well as a pre machined die cast aluminum enclosure.

we are also developing high fidelity stereo coders (MPX) and RDS encoders as well. Stereo FM limiters/compressors will also be developed as a similar form factor module. later on we will be looking at employing remote control to all systems via networking/via the internet.

Keep tuned as come up with new developments.
